ABOUT US:

Lynn Westhoven
Member of the SPF Family of pocket billiard instructors (see http://www.poolschool.com/ )
BCA Recognized Instructor.
Veteran of over 20 years of league-leading play with the San Francisco Pool Association. Now playing closer to home in the Diablo Valley Pool League.
However, I've never stopped trying to learn and improve my game. It is this continual striving for improvement that has led me to this point. When I was introduced to the Masters Pool School SPF teaching methods in 2008, I was impressed by the advantages of a teaching/learning system that stresses the mechanics of your 'perfect' stroke and gives you the tools to develop it. I sure wish this instructional program had been around when I first started playing.
In fact, this approach to learning pocket billiards ultimately promotes the development of your non-cognitive 'auto-pilot', which is what (or who) makes all your shots when you are 'in the zone'.
Thanks to Tom Seymour at Beginner's Mind Pool School, San Francisco. Tom has been a long-time friend and teammate.
More thanks to Randy Goettlicher and Scott Lee at Master's Pool School in Dallas Texas, for being such passionate instructors and providing excellent training in the SPF methods.
